பர்னபாவும் சவுலும் தர்ம ஊழியத்தை நிறைவேற்றினபின்பு Mark என்னும் மறுபேர்கொண்ட யோவானைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு எருசலேமைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிவந்தார்கள்.

அல்லாமலும் அந்தந்தச் சபைகளில் அவர்களுக்கு மூப்பர்களை ஏற்படுத்திவைத்து, உபவாசித்து ஜெபம்பண்ணி, அவர்கள் விசுவாசித்துப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட கர்த்தருக்கு அவர்களை ஒப்புவித்தார்கள்.

அதினாலே அவர்களுக்கும் பவுல் பர்னபா என்பவர்களுக்கும் மிகுந்த வாக்குவாதமும் தர்க்கமும் உண்டானபோது, அந்த விஷயத்தினிமித்தம் பவுலும் பர்னபாவும் அவர்களைச் சேர்ந்த வேறுசிலரும் எருசலேமிலிருக்கிற அப்போஸ்தலரிடத்திற்கும் மூப்பரிடத்திற்கும் போகவேண்டுமென்று தீர்மானித்தார்கள்.

இவர்கள் கையில் அவர்கள் எழுதிக்கொடுத்தனுப்பின நிருபமாவது: அப்போஸ்தலரும் மூப்பரும் சகோதரருமாகிய நாங்கள் அந்தியோகியாவிலும் சீரியாவிலும் சிலிசியாவிலும் இருக்கும் புறஜாதியாராகிய சகோதரருக்கு வாழ்த்துதல் சொல்லி எழுதிய நிருபம் என்னவென்றால்;

மறுநாளிலே பவுல் எங்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, யாக்கோபினிடத்திற்குப் போனான்; மூப்பரெல்லாரும் அங்கே கூடிவந்தார்கள்.

நான் வரும்போது உங்கள் உபகாரத்தை எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகும்படிக்கு, நீங்கள் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாகக் குறிக்கிறவர்கள் எவர்களோ, அவர்களிடத்தில் நிருபங்களைக் கொடுத்து, அவர்களை அனுப்புவேன்.
