அவர் சிலுவையில் பாடுபட்டப்பின்பு, நாற்பது நாட்கள்வரை அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி, தேவனுடைய இராஜ்யத்திற்குரியவைகளை அவர்களோடு பேசி, அநேகம் தெளிவான ஆதாரங்களினாலே அவர்களுக்குத் தம்மை உயிரோடிருக்கிறவராகக் காண்பித்தார்.

இது இயேசுவின் மரணத்திற்குப் பின்னர் நிகழ்ந்தது. ஆனால் அவர் அப்போஸ்தலருக்குத் தான் உயிரோடிருப்பதைக் காட்டினார். வல்லமைமிக்க செயல்கள் பலவற்றைச் செய்து இயேசு இதை நிரூபித்தார். இயேசு மரணத்தினின்று எழுந்த பின்பு 40 நாட்களில் அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் பலமுறை இயேசுவைப் பார்த்தனர். தேவனுடைய இராஜ்யத்தைப்பற்றி இயேசு அப்போஸ்தலர்களிடம் பேசினார்.
