அப்போஸ்தலர்கள், “ஆண்டவரே, நீர் எல்லா மனிதர்களின் உள்ளங்களையும் அறிந்தவர். இந்த இருவரில் உம் சேவைக்கு நீர் யாரைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறீர் என்பதை எங்களுக்குக் காட்டும். யூதாஸ் இதனைவிட்டு நீங்கித் தனக்குரிய இடத்திற்குச் சென்றுவிட்டான். ஆண்டவரே, எந்த மனிதன் அப்போஸ்தலனாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதைக் காட்டும்!” என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்தார்கள்.
