Proverbs 19:7
All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursues them with words, yet they are lacking to him.

தரித்திரனை அவனுடைய சகோதரர்கள் எல்லோரும் பகைக்கிறார்களே, எத்தனை அதிகமாக அவனுடைய நண்பர்கள் அவனுக்குத் தூரமாவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளை அவன் நாடுகிறான், அவைகளோ வெறும் வார்த்தைகளே.

ஒருவன் ஏழையாக இருந்தால், அவனது குடும்பம் கூட அவனுக்கு எதிராக இருக்கும். அவனது நண்பர் களும்கூட அவனை விட்டு விலகுவார்கள். அந்த ஏழை அவர்களிடம் உதவி கேட்கலாம். எனினும் அவனருகில் அவர்கள் போகமாட்டார்கள்.
