Nehemiah 5:13
Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performs not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.

பிறகு நான் எனது ஆடைகளின் மடிப்புகளை உதறிப்போட்டேன். நான், “தனது வாக்குறுதியைக் காப்பாற்றாத எவரையும் தேவன் இவ்வாறே உதறிப்போடுவார். தேவன் அவர்களைத் தமது வீடுகளிலிருந்து உதறுவார். அவர்கள் தமது சம்பாத்தியத்தை எல்லாம் இழப்பார்கள். அம்மனிதன் எல்லாவற்றையும் இழப்பான்” என்றேன். நான் இவற்றைச் சொல்லி முடித்தேன். அந்த ஜனங்கள் ஒத்துக்கொண்டனர். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் “ஆமென்” என்றனர். அவர்கள் கர்த்தரை துதித்தனர். எனவே ஜனங்கள் அவர்கள் வாக்குறுதிப்படியே செய்தனர்.
