And if yours eye offend you, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

உன் கண் உனக்கு இடறல் உண்டாக்கினால், அதைப் பிடுங்கிப்போடு; நீ இரண்டு கண்கள் உள்ளவனாக அணையாத அக்கினியுள்ள நரகத்திலே தள்ளப்படுவதைவிட, ஒற்றைக் கண்ணனாக தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்திற்குச் செல்வது உனக்கு நலமாக இருக்கும்.

உனது கண் நீ பாவம் செய்யக் காரணமானால் அதனைப் பிடுங்கிப் போடு. உனது வாழ்வு முழுவதையும் இழப்பதைவிட ஒரு கண்ணை உடையவனாய் இருப்பது பரவாயில்லை. இரண்டு கண்ணுடையவனாய் நரகத்தில் தள்ளப்படுவதை விட ஒரு கண்ணை உடையவனாய் தேவனுடைய இராஜ்யத்திற்குள் நுழைவது பரவாயில்லை.
