And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of you? give an account of your stewardship; for you may be no longer steward.

அப்பொழுது எஜமான் அவனை வரவழைத்து: உன்னைக்குறித்து நான் இப்படிக் கேள்விப்படுகிறதென்ன? உன் நிர்வாகத்தின் கணக்கைக் கொடு, இனி நீ நிர்வாகியாக இருக்கக்கூடாது என்றான்.

எனவே அந்த அதிகாரியை அழைத்து அவனை நோக்கி, ‘உன்னைக் குறித்துத் தவறான செய்திகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்டேன். எனது பணத்தை எவ்வாறு பயன்படுத்தினாய் என்பதற்கான அறிக்கையைக் கொடு. இப்போது நீ எனக்கு அதிகாரியாக இருக்க முடியாது’ என்றான்.
