And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

இதைக் கேள்விப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தங்களுடைய மனதிலே நடந்தவைகளை நினைத்து, இந்தக் குழந்தை வளர்ந்து எப்படிப்பட்ட காரியங்களைச் செய்யுமோ என்றார்கள். கர்த்தருடைய கரம் அந்தக் குழந்தையோடு இருந்தது.

இச்செய்திகளைக் கேட்ட எல்லா மக்களும் அவற்றைக் குறித்து அதிசயப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள், “இக்குழந்தை எப்படிப்பட்டதாயிருக்குமோ?” என்று எண்ணினர். கர்த்தர் இந்தக் குழந்தையோடு இருந்தபடியால் அவர்கள் இதைக் கூறினர்.
