Then said his wife unto him, Do you still retain yours integrity? curse God, and die.

அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய மனைவி அவனைப் பார்த்து: நீர் இன்னும் உம்முடைய உத்தமத்திலே உறுதியாக நிற்கிறீரோ? தேவனை நிந்தித்து உயிரை விடும் என்றாள்.

யோபுவின் மனைவி அவனை நோக்கி, “நீ இன்னும் தேவனுக்கு உண்மையுள்ளவனாய் இருக்கிறாயா? நீர் தேவனை சபித்தவண்ணம் மரித்துவிடு?” என்று கேட்டாள்.
