Yea, you shall go forth from him, and yours hands upon yours head: for the LORD has rejected your confidences, and you shall not prosper in them.

நீ உன் கைகளை உன் தலையின்மேல் வைத்துக்கொண்டு இவ்விடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போவாய்; ஏனென்றால், உன் நம்பிக்கைகளைக் கர்த்தர் வெறுத்திருக்கிறார்; அவைகளால் உனக்குக் காரியம் வாய்க்காது.

எனவே நீ இறுதியாக எகிப்தையும் விட்டுப் போய்விடுவாய். உன் முகத்தை வெட்கத்திற்குள் மறைத்துக்கொள்வாய். நீ அந்த நாடுகளை நம்பினாய், ஆனால் கர்த்தர் அந்நாடுகளை வெறுத்தார், எனவே அவர்களால் உன் வெற்றிக்கு உதவ முடியாது.
