For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and the flower thereof falls, and the grace of the fashion of it perishes: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

சூரியன் கடும் வெயிலுடன் உதித்து, புல்லை உலர்த்தும்போது, அதின் பூ உதிர்ந்து, அதின் அழகான வடிவம் அழிந்துபோகும்; ஐசுவரியவானும் அப்படியே தன் வழிகளில் அழிந்துபோவான்.

சூரியன் உதயமானதும் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாகச் சூடாகிறது. சூரிய வெப்பமானது செடிகளைக் காய வைக்கிறது. பூ உதிர்ந்துவிடுகின்றது. அந்த பூ அழகாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் அது வாடிப்போய் விடுகிறது. பணக்காரனும் அப்படித்தான். அவன் தன் வியாபாரத்துக்காகத் திட்டமிடும்போது இறந்துபோவான்.
