Isaiah 62:8
The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your corn to be food for yours enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink your wine, for the which you have laboured:

இனி நான் உன் தானியத்தை உன் எதிரிகளுக்கு உணவாகக் கொடுக்கமாட்டேன்; உன் பிரயாசத்தினாலாகிய உன் திராட்சைரசத்தை அந்நிய தேசத்தார் குடிப்பதுமில்லையென்று கர்த்தர் தமது வலது கரத்தின்மேலும் தமது வல்லமையுள்ள புயத்தின்மேலும் வாக்குக்கொடுத்தார்.

கர்த்தர் ஒரு வாக்குறுதிச் செய்தார். கர்த்தர் தன் சொந்த வல்லமையைச் சான்றாகப் பயன்படுத்தினார். கர்த்தர் தன் வாக்குறுதியைக் காப்பாற்ற தனது வல்லமையைப் பயன்படுத்துவார். கர்த்தர் சொன்னார், “உங்கள் உணவை உங்கள் பகைவர்களுக்கு மீண்டும் கொடுக்கமாட்டேன் என்று வாக்களிக்கிறேன். நீங்கள் உருவாக்கிய திராட்சைரசத்தை உங்கள் பகைவர்கள் மீண்டும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள விடமாட்டேன் என்று வாக்களிக்கிறேன்.
