Isaiah 49:7
Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation detests, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose you.

இஸ்ரவேலின் மீட்பரும் அதின் பரிசுத்தருமாகிய கர்த்தர், மனிதர்களால் அசட்டைசெய்யப்பட்டவரும், தேசங்களால் அருவருக்கப்பட்டவரும், அதிகாரிகளுக்கு ஊழியக்காரனுமாயிருக்கிறவரை நோக்கி, உண்மையுள்ள கர்த்தர் நிமித்தமும், உம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தர்நிமித்தமும், ராஜாக்கள் கண்டு எழுந்திருந்து, பிரபுக்கள் பணிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்று சொல்கிறார்.

கர்த்தர், இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தர். இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாதுகாக்கிறவர் சொல்கிறார், “எனது தாசன் பணிவானவன். அவன் ஆள்வோர்களுக்குச் சேவை செய்கிறான் ஆனால், ஜனங்கள் அவனை வெறுக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், அரசர்கள் அவனைப் பார்ப்பார்கள். அவனைப் பெருமைப்படுத்த எழுந்து நிற்பார்கள். பெருந்தலைவர்கள் அவனுக்குப் பணிவார்கள்” இது நடைபெறும். ஏனென்றால் கர்த்தர், இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தர் இதனை விரும்புகிறார். கர்த்தர் நம்பத்தக்கவர். உன்னைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தவர் அவரே.
