Hebrews 2:10
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

ஏனென்றால், தமக்காகவும் தம்மூலமாகவும் எல்லாவற்றையும் உண்டாக்கினவர், அநேக பிள்ளைகளை மகிமையில் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கும்போது அவர்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் அதிபதியை உபத்திரவங்களினாலே பூரணப்படுத்துவது அவருக்கு ஏற்றதாக இருந்தது.

தேவனே அனைத்தையும் படைத்தவர். அனைத்தும் அவரது மகிமைக்காகவே உள்ளன. தன் மகிமையைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ள ஏராளமான மக்களை அவர் விரும்பினார். எனவே, தமக்குத் தேவையானவற்றை அவர் செய்தார். மக்களை இரட்சிப்புக்கு வழி நடத்திச் செல்ல பூரணமானவராக தேவன் இயேசுவை ஏற்படுத்தினார். இயேசு தன் துன்பத்தால் ஒரு பூரண இரட்சகரானார்.
