Neither shall you desire your neighbour's wife, neither shall you covet your neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is your neighbour's.

மற்றவனுடைய மனைவியை இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக; அவனுடைய வீட்டையும், நிலத்தையும், வேலைக்காரனையும், வேலைக்காரியையும், எருதையும், கழுதையையும், மேலும் அவனுக்குச் சொந்தமான எதையும் இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக என்றார்.

‘பிறருடைய மனைவி மீது ஆசைகொள்ளாதே. பிறரது வீட்டையும், அவரது நிலத்தையும், அவரது வேலைக்காரன் வேலைக்காரிகளையும், அவனது மாடு அல்லது கழுதைகளையும் விரும்பக் கூடாது. மற்றவர்களிடம் உள்ள எந்த ஒரு பொருளையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள ஆசைப்படக் கூடாது’” என்றான்.

பிறனுடைய மனைவியை இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக; பிறனுடைய வீட்டையும், அவனுடைய நிலத்தையும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரனையும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரியையும், அவனுடைய எருதையும், அவனுடைய கழுதையையும், பின்னும் பிறனுக்குள்ள யாதொன்றையும் இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக என்றார்.
