So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? turn you behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he comes not again.

எனவே, தூதுவன் யெகூவை சந்திக்க குதிரையில் சென்றான். தூதுவன், “நீங்கள் சமாதானத்தோடு வருகிறீர்களா? என்று அரசன் கேட்கச் சொன்னார்” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு யெகூ, “சமாதானத்துடன் எந்த சம்பந்தமும் உனக்கு இல்லை! என்னைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து வா” என்றான். காவல்காரன் யோராமிடம், “தூதுவன் அந்தக் கூட்டத்தோடு சேர்ந்துவிட்டான். அவன் திரும்பி வரவில்லை” என்றான்.
