And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

பிறகு அவன் ஜெபம் செய்து “கர்த்தாவே! என் வேலைக்காரனின் கண்ணை திறந்துவிடும். அதனால் அவன் கண்டுகொள்வான்” என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டான். அந்த வேலைக்காரனின் கண்களை கர்த்தர் திறந்தார். அவன் பார்த்தபோது, மலை முழுவதும் படை வீரர்களும் குதிரைகளும் இரதங்களும் நிற்பதைப் பார்த்தான் அவர்கள் எலிசாவை சுற்றியிருந்தனர்!
