For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

நாம் அவருக்குள் தேவனுடைய நீதியாக இருப்பதற்காக, பாவம் அறியாத அவரை நமக்காகப் பாவமாக்கினார்.

கிறிஸ்துவிடம் பாவம் இல்லை. ஆனால் தேவன் நமக்காக அவரைப் பாவம் ஆக்கினார். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக தேவன் இதைச் செய்தார்.
