2 Chronicles 31:10
And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD has blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.

சாதோக்கின் சந்ததியானாகிய அசரியா என்னும் பிரதான ஆசாரியன் அவனை நோக்கி: இந்தக் காணிக்கையைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவரத் தொடங்கினதுமுதல் நாங்கள் சாப்பிட்டுத் திருப்தியடைந்தோம்; இன்னும் மீதம் இருக்கிறது; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய மக்களை ஆசீர்வதித்ததால் இந்தத் திரளான தானியக் குவியல் மீந்திருக்கிறது என்றான்.

சாதோக்கின் குடும்பத்தை சேர்ந்த தலைமை ஆசாரியனாகிய அசரியா என்பவன் எசேக்கியா அரசனிடம், “ஜனங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் காணிக்கை பொருட்களைக் கொண்டுவரத் தொடங்கிய நாள் முதல் எங்களுக்கு உணவு ஏராளமாய் உள்ளது. நாங்கள் எவ்வளவுதான் அதிகமாக தின்றாலும் ஏராளமாக மிகுதியாக உள்ளது. கர்த்தர் உண்மையாகவே தம் ஜனங்களை ஆசீர்வதித்துள்ளார். அதனால் தான் இவ்வளவு மீதியாக உள்ளது.” என்று பதில் சொன்னான்.
