Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now all of you have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

அதின்பின்பு எசேக்கியா: இப்போதும் நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கென்று உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்செய்தீர்கள்; ஆகையால் அருகில் வந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது சபையாரில் விருப்பமுள்ளவர்கள் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் மற்றவர்கள் தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

எசேக்கியா, “இப்போது யூதா ஜனங்களாகிய நீங்கள் உங்களையே கர்த்தருக்காகக் கொடுத்துவிட்டீர்கள். அவரண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குத் தகனபலிகளையும், ஸ்தோத்திரப் பலிகளையும், கொண்டுவாருங்கள்” என்று சொன்னான். பிறகு ஜனங்களும் அவ்வாறே தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரப் பலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தனர். விடுப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லாம் கொண்டுவந்தனர்.
