And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and hired stone workers and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the LORD.

அதை ராஜாவும் யோய்தாவும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் வேலையைச் செய்யும் ஊழியக்காரர்கள் கையிலே கொடுத்தார்கள்; அதனால் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைப் புதுப்பிக்கும்படி சிற்பிகளையும், தச்சரையும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைப் பழுதுபார்க்கும்படி கொல்லர்களையும் கம்மாளர்களையும் கூலிக்கு அமர்த்திக்கொண்டார்கள்.

பிறகு யோவாஸ் அரசனும், யோய்தா ஆசாரியனும் அப்பணத்தைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் வேலைச் செய்பவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தனர். கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைத் திரும்பக் கட்டுவதற்காக மரம் குடைவதில் திறமை பெற்றவர்களையும், தச்சர்களையும் வேலைக்கு அமர்த்தினார்கள். மேலும் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைத் திரும்பக் கட்டுவதற்காக இரும்பிலும் வெண்கலத்திலும் வேலைச் செய்வதில் திற மைமிக்கவர்களையும் வேலைக்கு அமர்த்தினார்கள்.
