Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her out of the ranges: and whoso follows her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not in the house of the LORD.

ஆசாரியனாகிய யோய்தா படைத்தலைவர்களாகிய நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளானவர்களை வெளியே அழைத்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: இவளை வரிசைக்கு வெளியே கொண்டுபோங்கள்; இவளைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவனைப் பட்டயத்தால் வெட்டிப்போடுங்கள் என்றான். கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்திலே அவளைக் கொன்றுபோடவேண்டாம் என்று ஆசாரியன் சொல்லியிருந்தான்.

யோய்தா ஆசாரியன் படைத்தளபதிகளை அழைத்தான். அவன் அவர்களிடம், “அத்தாலியாளை பிடித்து வெளியே கொண்டுபோங்கள். அவளை யாராவது பின்பற்றினால், அவர்களைக் கொல்ல உங்கள் வாள்களைப் பயன்படுத்துங்கள்” என்றான். அதோடு ஆசாரியர் வீரர்களிடம், “அத்தாலியாளைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் கொன்றுவிடாதீர்கள்” என்று எச்சரித்தான்.
