Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Nevertheless they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchers of the kings.

அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது முப்பத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, எட்டு வருடங்கள் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்து, ஒருவராலும் விரும்பப்படாமல் இறந்துபோனான்; அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; ஆனாலும் ராஜாக்களின் கல்லறைகளில் அவனை வைக்கவில்லை.

யோராம் அரசனானபோது 32 வயதுள்ளவனாயிருந்து 8 வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டு மரித்துப் போனான். அவன் மரித்ததும் அவனுக்காக எவரும் துக்கப்படவில்லை. ஜனங்கள் யோராமை தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே அடக்கம் செய்தனர். ஆனால் அரசர்களுக்குரிய கல்லறையில் அடக்கம் செய்யவில்லை.
