And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.

சாலொமோனை அவனுடைய தகப்பன் இடத்தில் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்செய்தார்கள் என்று தீருவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஈராம் கேள்விப்பட்டு, தன்னுடைய வேலைக்காரர்களை அவனிடம் அனுப்பினான்; ஈராம் தாவீதுக்கு எப்பொழுதும் நண்பனாக இருந்தான்.
