Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for you are a wise man, and know what you ought to do unto him; but his hoar head bring you down to the grave with blood.

ஆனாலும் நீ அவனைக் குற்றமற்றவன் என்று நினைக்காதே; நீ புத்திமான்; அவனுடைய நரைமுடியை இரத்தத்துடன் பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கச்செய்ய, நீ அவனுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியதை அறிவாய் என்றான்.

எனினும், அவனை குற்றமற்றவன் என்று எண்ணி நீ தண்டிக்காமல் விட்டுவிடாதே. அவனை என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்று உனக்குத் தெரியும். அவனையும் முதியவயதில் சமாதானத்தோடு மரிக்குமாறு விட்டுவிடாதே” என்றான்.
