1 Chronicles 23:13
The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.

அம்ராமின் மகன்கள் ஆரோன், மோசே என்பவர்கள்; ஆரோனும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும் பரிசுத்தத்திற்குப் பரிசுத்தமான இடத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் பரிசுத்தமாகக் காக்கவும், என்றைக்கும் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக தூபங்காட்டவும், அவருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யவும், அவர் நாமத்திலே ஆசீர்வாதம் கொடுக்கவும் பிரித்துவைக்கப்பட்டார்கள்.

அம்ராமிற்கு ஆரோன், மோசே என இரு பிள்ளைகள் இருந்தார்கள். ஆரோன் சிறப்புக் குரியவனாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டான். ஆரோனும் அவனது சந்ததியினரும் எல்லா காலங்களிலும், எல்லா இடங்களிலும் சிறப்பானவர்களாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். கர்த்தருடைய சேவைக்குப் பரிசுத்தப் பொருட்களைத் தயார் செய்வதற்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். ஆரோனும், அவனது சந்ததியினரும் நறுமணப் பொருட்களை கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பு எரிக்கத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். இவர்கள் ஆசாரியர்களாகப் பணியாற்ற தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி எல்லாக் காலத்திலும் ஜனங்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதம் அளித்தனர்.
