וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and va-YOH-mer אֱלֹהִ֗ים said, ay-loh-HEEM תַּֽדְשֵׁ֤א And tahd-SHAY הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ God ha-AH-RETS דֶּ֔שֶׁא bring DEH-sheh עֵ֚שֶׂב forth A-sev מַזְרִ֣יעַ the mahz-REE-ah זֶ֔רַע earth ZEH-ra עֵ֣ץ Let ayts פְּרִ֞י grass, peh-REE עֹ֤שֶׂה the OH-seh פְּרִי֙ herb peh-REE לְמִינ֔וֹ yielding leh-mee-NOH אֲשֶׁ֥ר seed, uh-SHER זַרְעוֹ tree zahr-OH ב֖וֹ the voh עַל fruit al הָאָ֑רֶץ yielding ha-AH-rets וַֽיְהִי fruit VA-hee כֵֽן׃ after hane
