Psalm 149
1 প্রভুর প্রশংসা কর! প্রভু নতুন যা করেছেন তার জন্য একটা নতুন গান গাও! যেখানে তাঁর অনুগামীরা একসঙ্গে জড় হয়, সেই সমাজে তাঁর প্রশংসা কর|
2 ইস্রায়েলকে তাদের স্রষ্টাকে নিয়ে আনন্দ করতে দাও| সিয়োনের লোককে তাদের রাজাকে নিয়ে আনন্দ করতে দাও|
3 লোকেরা বীণা ও খঞ্জনী বাজাক এবং নাচতে নাচতে ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা করুক!
4 ঈশ্বর তাঁর লোকদের প্রতি প্রসন্ন| ঈশ্বর তাঁর বিনম্র লোকদের জন্য এক বিস্ময়কর জিনিস করেছেন| তিনি তাদের রক্ষা করেছেন!
5 হে ঈশ্বর অনুগামীরা, তোমাদের জয়কে উপভোগ কর! বিছানায় যাওয়ার পরে পর্য়ন্ত সুখী হও|
6 লোকজনকে চিত্কার করে প্রভুর প্রশংসা করতে দাও এবং তাদের হাতে তরবারি ধরতে দাও|
7 ওরা ওদের শত্রুদের শাস্তি দিতে যাক| ওরা ওই সব লোকদের শাস্তি দিতে যাক|
8 ঈশ্বরের লোকরা ওদের রাজাদের এবং বড় বড় নেতাদের লোহার শিকল দিয়ে শৃঙ্খলিত করবে|
9 ঈশ্বরের নির্দেশ মতই ঈশ্বরের লোকরা ওদের শাস্তি দেবে| ঈশ্বরের সমস্ত অনুগামীরা, তাঁকে সম্মান জানাও| প্রভুর প্রশংসা কর!
1 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
