Psalm 14 in Bengali

1 একজন দুষ্ট নির্বোধ লোক মনে মনে বলে, “ঈশ্বর নেই|” এইসব লোকরা ভয়ঙ্কর ও দুষ্ট কাজকর্ম করে| তাদের মধ্যে একজনও নেই য়ে ভালো কাজ করে|

2 ওদের মধ্যে ঈশ্বরের সাহায্য কামনা করে এমন দেখবার জন্য প্রভু স্বর্গ থেকে লোকদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রেখেছিলেন| (জ্ঞানী লোকরা সাহায্যের জন্য ঈশ্বরমুখী হয়|)

3 কিন্তু প্রত্যেকটি লোকই ঈশ্বরের থেকে বিমুখ হয়ে গেছে| সব লোকই, মন্দ লোকে পরিণত হয়েছে| এমনকি একটা লোকও ভালো কাজ করে নি!

4 মন্দ লোকরা আমার লোকদের বিনষ্ট করেছে| ওই সব মন্দ লোকরা ঈশ্বরকে চেনে না| মন্দ লোকদের জন্য গলাধঃকরণ করার মত প্রচুর খাদ্য রয়েছে| এমনকি তারা প্রভুর উপাসনা পর্য়ন্ত করে না|

5 ঐসব মন্দ লোক, একজন দরিদ্র মানুষের কাছ থেকে উপদেশ শুনতে চায় না| কেন? কারণ ওই দরিদ্র লোকটি ঈশ্বরের ওপর নির্ভর করে|

6 কিন্তু ঈশ্বর তাঁর সত্‌ লোকদের সঙ্গে থাকেন| সুতরাং মন্দ লোকদের ভয়ের অনেক কারণ আছে|

7 সিয়োন পর্বত থেকে কে ইস্রায়েলকে রক্ষা করে? তিনি বয়ং প্রভু যিনি ইস্রায়েলকে রক্ষা করেন! প্রভু যখন আবার তাঁর লোকদের তাদের দেশ থেকে সমৃদ্ধশালী করেন, তখন যাকোবের পরিবার আনন্দ করুক| ইস্রায়েলের লোকেরা সুখী হোক|

2 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

3 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

4 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

5 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

6 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

7 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.

8 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

1 একজন দুষ্ট নির্বোধ লোক মনে মনে বলে, “ঈশ্বর নেই|” এইসব লোকরা ভয়ঙ্কর ও দুষ্ট কাজকর্ম করে| তাদের মধ্যে একজনও নেই য়ে ভালো কাজ করে|

4 মন্দ লোকরা আমার লোকদের বিনষ্ট করেছে| ওই সব মন্দ লোকরা ঈশ্বরকে চেনে না| মন্দ লোকদের জন্য গলাধঃকরণ করার মত প্রচুর খাদ্য রয়েছে| এমনকি তারা প্রভুর উপাসনা পর্য়ন্ত করে না|

5 ঐসব মন্দ লোক, একজন দরিদ্র মানুষের কাছ থেকে উপদেশ শুনতে চায় না| কেন? কারণ ওই দরিদ্র লোকটি ঈশ্বরের ওপর নির্ভর করে|

6 কিন্তু ঈশ্বর তাঁর সত্‌ লোকদের সঙ্গে থাকেন| সুতরাং মন্দ লোকদের ভয়ের অনেক কারণ আছে|

7 সিয়োন পর্বত থেকে কে ইস্রায়েলকে রক্ষা করে? তিনি বয়ং প্রভু যিনি ইস্রায়েলকে রক্ষা করেন! প্রভু যখন আবার তাঁর লোকদের তাদের দেশ থেকে সমৃদ্ধশালী করেন, তখন যাকোবের পরিবার আনন্দ করুক| ইস্রায়েলের লোকেরা সুখী হোক|
