Numbers 16:40
মোশির মাধ্যমে প্রভু যে ভাবে আজ্ঞা দিয়েছিলেন, তিনি ঠিক সেভাবেই তা করলেন| এটি এমন একটি চিহ্নস্বরূপ হল যা ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের মনে রাখতে সাহায্য করবে যে কেবলমাত্র হারোণের পরিবারের কোনো ব্যক্তিই প্রভুর সামনে সুগন্ধি ধূপধূনো উত্সর্গ করতে পারে| এছাড়া অন্য কোনো ব্যক্তি যদি প্রভুকে সুগন্ধি ধূপধূনোর নৈবেদ্য প্রদান করেন তাহলে সেও কোরহ এবং তার অনুসরণকারীদের মতোই মারা যাবে|

কিন্তু শক্তি বৃদ্ধির সঙ্গে সঙ্গে উষিযর দম্ভ তাঁকে ধ্বংসের মুখে ঠেলে দেয, কারণ তিনি প্রভু, তাঁর ঈশ্বরের প্রতি অশ্রদ্ধা প্রকাশ করতে শুরু করেন| এমনকি উষিয একবার প্রভুর মন্দিরের বেদীতে ধুপধূনো জ্বালাতেও গিয়েছিলেন|

তাদের ধিক্, কারণ কয়িন য়ে পথে গিয়েছিল তারাও সেই পথ ধরেছে৷ তারা বিলিয়মের মতো টাকার লোভে ভ্রান্ত পথে চলেছে৷ আর কোরহের মতো বিদ্রোহী হয়ে ধ্বংসের পথে চলেছে৷
