এর উত্তরে যীশু বললেন, ‘একজন লোক জেরুশালেম থেকে যিরীহোর দিকে নেমে যাচ্ছিল, পথে সে ডাকাতের হাতে ধরা পড়ল৷ তারা লোকটির জামা কাপড় খুলে নিয়ে তাকে মারধোর করে আধমরা অবস্থায় সেখানে ফেলে রেখে চলে গেল৷
