Numbers 21:3
প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের কথা শুনলেন এবং কনানীয লোকদের পরাজিত করার জন্য প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের সাহায্য করলেন| ইস্রায়েলীয়রা কনানীযদের এবং তাদের শহরগুলো সম্পূর্ণ ধ্বংস করেছিল| এই কারণে ঐ জায়গাটির নাম রাখা হল হর্মা|

| and delivered up | וַיִּתֵּן֙ | wayyittēn | va-yee-TANE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the Canaanites; | הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י | hakkĕnaʿănî | ha-keh-na-uh-NEE |
| destroyed utterly they and | וַיַּֽחֲרֵ֥ם | wayyaḥărēm | va-ya-huh-RAME |
| them and their cities: | אֶתְהֶ֖ם | ʾethem | et-HEM |
| called he and | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| the name | עָֽרֵיהֶ֑ם | ʿārêhem | ah-ray-HEM |
| of the place | וַיִּקְרָ֥א | wayyiqrāʾ | va-yeek-RA |
