পাপ নৈবেদ্যর মাংস স্পর্শেই একজন মানুষ বা কোন বিষয় পবিত্র হয়ে ওঠে|“যদি ছিটানো রক্তের একটুও কোন মানুষের কাপড়ের ওপর পড়ে তখন অবশ্যই কোন পবিত্র স্থানে যে সেই কাপড় কাচা হয়|

Leviticus 11:32
“যদি ঐ সমস্ত অশুচি প্রাণীদের কোন একটা মরে কোন কিছুর ওপর পড়ে, তাহলে সেই জিনিসটিও অশুচি হবে| সেই জিনিসটি কাঠের তৈরী কোন পাত্র, কাপড়, চামড়া, শোকের পোশাক দিয়ে তৈরী কাজের কোন হাতিযার হতে পারে| এটা ইস্রায়েলেইহোক তা অবশ্যই জলে ধুতে হবে| সন্ধ্যা না হওয়া পর্য়ন্ত তা অশুচি থাকবে| তারপর তা আবার শুচি হবে|
Haggai 2:12
“যদি কোন লোক তার কাপড়ের ভাঁজে মাংস বহন করে এবং তার পোষাক কিছু পাঁউরুটি, রান্না করা খাবার, দ্রাক্ষারস, তেল অথবা অন্য কোন খাদ্য স্পর্শ করে তাহলে কি এই জিনিষগুলি পবিত্র হয়ে যাবে?”যাজকরা উত্তরে বললেন, “না|”
