“তারপর যাজক লোকটিকে শুচি করার জন্য প্রাযশ্চিত্ত হিসাবে পাপ মোচনের নৈবেদ্যটিকে উত্সর্গ করবে| এরপর হোমবলির নৈবেদ্যর জন্য যাজক প্রাণীটিকে হত্যা করবে|

Romans 8:3
মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা যা পারে নি তা ঈশ্বর সাধন করলেন; কারণ আমাদের স্বভাবজাত দুর্বলতার জন্য মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা শক্তিহীন ছিল৷ তাই তিনি তাঁর নিজের পুত্রকে আমাদের মত মনুষ্যদেহে পাঠালেন, য়েন তিনি মানুষের পাপের জন্য বলি হন৷ ঈশ্বর এইভাবে সেই মানবীয় দেহে পাপকে মণ্ডিত করলেন৷
