যিহোশূয় তাদের এই আদেশ দিলেন: “তোমাদের যা বলছি তা মন দিয়ে শোন| শহরের পেছন দিকে তোমরা লুকিয়ে থাকবে| আক্রমণের জন্য অপেক্ষা করবে| শহর থেকে বেশী দূরে যাবে না| সবসময় লক্ষ্য রাখবে আর তৈরী থাকবে|
