কালেবের ভাই কনষের পুত্র অত্নীয়েল শহর জয় করল| কালেব অত্নীয়েলের সঙ্গে কন্যা অক্ষার বিয়ে দিলেন|

এরপর 40 বছর ধরে দেশে শান্তি বজায় ছিল| এই অবস্থা ছিল কনসের পুত্র অত্নীয়েলের মৃত্যু পর্য়ন্ত|

কারণ কনিসীয গোষ্ঠীভুক্ত য়িফূন্নির পুত্র কালেব এবং নূনের পুত্র যিহোশূয় প্রভুকে সঠিকভাবে অনুসরণ করেছিল!’
