প্রভু চেয়েছিলেন য়েন এসব দেশের লোকরা নিজেদের শক্তিশালী ভাবে| তাহলে তারা ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করবে| এই ভাবেই য়েন তিনি তাদের প্রতি দযা না করে বিনাশ করেন| য়ে ভাবে প্রভু মোশিকে আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন, সেই ভাবেই য়েন তিনি তাদের বিনাশ করেন|

মানুষ যদি মানুষের কাছে পাপ করে ঈশ্বর তাকে ক্ষমা করতে পারেন, কিন্তু প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করলে কে তাকে রক্ষা করবে?”কিন্তু পুত্ররা কেউ তাকে গ্রাহ্য করল না| তাই প্রভু তাদের শেষ করবেন বলে স্থির করলেন|
