সে ফরীশীদের ও প্রধান যাজকদের কাছ থেকে একদল সৈনিক ও কিছু রক্ষী নিয়ে সেখানে এল৷ তাদের হাতে ছিল মশাল, লন্ঠন ও নানা অস্ত্র৷
