“চুক্তির ভাষা শোন যিরমিয়| তুমি যা শুনবে তা যিহূদার লোকেদের বলবে| জেরুশালেম বাসীদেরও বলবে|

যিরমিয় প্রভু় ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর যা বলেছেন তা হল: “মিশর থেকে আমি তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের নিয়ে এসেছিলাম| তারাও সেখানে দাসত্ব করত| যখন আমি তাদের নিয়ে এসেছিলাম তখন আমি তাদের সঙ্গে একটি চুক্তি করেছিলাম|
