ফরৌণ য়োষেফের আর এক নাম সাফনত্‌-পানেহ রাখলেন| ফরৌণ য়োষেফকে আসনত্‌ নামে এক কন্যার সঙ্গে বিয়েও দিলেন| সে ছিল ওন নামক শহরে যাজক পোটীফরের কন্যা| এইভাবে য়োষেফ সমস্ত মিশর দেশের রাজ্যপাল হলেন|
