ঈশ্বর বললেন, “দেখ তোমাদের জন্য আমি এক দূত জন পাঠাচ্ছি| আমি তোমাদের জন্য য়ে স্থান নির্বাচন করেছি তোমাদের সেইখানে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য আমার পাঠানো দূত তোমাদের নেতৃত্ব দেবে| ঐ দূত তোমাদের রক্ষা করবে|

Exodus 23:27
“তোমরা যখন তোমাদের শত্রুদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করবে তখন আমি তোমাদের শক্তি জোগাবো| তোমাদের শত্রুদের যাতে তোমরা হারাতে পারো তাতে আমি সাহায্য করব| তোমাদের শত্রুরা হতচকিত হয়ে যুদ্ধক্ষেত্র থেকে পালাতে শুরু করবে|

এখন সমতলে নেমে গিয়ে মিশরীয়দের হাত থেকে আমার লোকদের আমি রক্ষা করব| আমি তাদের মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে যাব এবং আমি তাদের এমন এক সুন্দর দেশে নিয়ে যাব য়ে দেশে তারা স্বাধীনভাবে শান্তিতে বাস করতে পারবে| সেই দেশ হবে বহু ভাল জিনিসে ভরা ভূখণ্ড|নানা ধরণের মানুষ সে দেশে বাস করে: কনানীয, হিত্তীয়, ইমোরীয়, পরিষীয়, হিব্বীয় ও য়িবুষীয গোষ্ঠীর লোকরা সেখানে বাস করে|

আমি সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি য়ে মিশরের দুর্দশা থেকে তোমাদের উদ্ধার করব| আমি তোমাদের উদ্ধার করব এবং তোমাদের কনানীয, হিত্তীয়, ইমোরীয়, পরিষীয়, হিব্বীয় ও যিবূষীয়দের দেশে নিয়ে যাব| আমি তোমাদের বহু সুসম্পদে ভরা ভূখণ্ডে নিয়ে যাব|’

আমি যা আদেশ দিচ্ছি, আজ তা পালন কর তাহলে আমি তোমাদের শত্রুদের তোমাদের দেশ ত্যাগ করতে বাধ্য করব| আমি ইমোরীয়, কনানীয়, হিত্তীয়, পরিষীয়, হিব্বীয় ও যিবূষীয়দের বিতাড়ন করব|

Deuteronomy 7:22
প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, ঐ সমস্ত দেশের লোকদের ধীরে ধীরে তোমাদের দেশ ত্যাগ করতে বাধ্য করবেন| তোমরা তাদের সকলকে এক সময়ে ধ্বংস করতে পারবে না| যদি তোমরা তাই কর, তাহলে বন্য জন্তুর সংখ্যা এত বেশী পরিমাণে বৃদ্ধি পাবে যা তোমাদের পক্ষে ক্ষতিকর হবে|
