সেই ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করার জন্য সাক্ষীর অবশ্যই প্রথমে পাথর ছুঁড়বে| এর পর হত্যার কাজ সম্পূর্ণ করার জন্য অন্যান্য ব্যক্তিরা পাথর ছুঁড়বে| এই ভাবে তোমরা সেই মন্দকে তোমাদের মধ্যে থেকে সরিয়ে দেবে|

যারা মণ্ডলীর বাইরের লোক তাদের বিচার ঈশ্বর করবেন৷ শাস্ত্র বলছে, ‘তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে দুষ্ট লোককে বের করে দাও৷’

“কোন লোক যদি সেই সময় তোমাদের প্রভু, ঈশ্বরের সেবায রত কোন বিচারক অথবা যাজকের কথা মেনে চলতে অস্বীকার করে, তাহলে সেই ব্যক্তিকে তোমরা অবশ্যই শাস্তি দেবে| সেই ব্যক্তিকে অবশ্যই মরতে হবে| ইস্রায়েল থেকে তোমরা সেই দুষ্ট লোককে অবশ্যই সরাবে|
Deuteronomy 19:19
তাহলে তোমরা তাকে অবশ্যই শাস্তি দেবে| সে অপর ব্যক্তির প্রতি যা যা করতে চেয়েছিল, তোমরা তার প্রতি তাই করবে| এই প্রকারে তোমরা তোমাদের জাতি থেকে দুষ্টাচার দূর করে দেবে|
Deuteronomy 24:7
“ইস্রায়েলীয় কোন লোক যদি অপর কোন একজন ইস্রায়েলীয়কে চুরি করে তাকে দাস হিসাবে বিক্রি করে, তবে সেই চোরকে য়েন হত্যা করা হয়| এই ভাবে তোমরা তোমাদের মধ্যে থেকে দুষ্টাচার দূর করবে|
Judges 20:13
তোমরা ঐ গিবিয়ার মন্দ লোকদের আমাদের কাছে পাঠিয়ে দাও| আমরা তাদের ধ্বংস করব| ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মধ্যে যত মন্দ আছে সব আমরা দূর করব|”কিন্তু বিন্যামীন পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর লোকরা দূতদের কথায় কান দিল না| বার্তাবাহকেরা ছিল সম্পর্কে তাদেরই আত্মীয| তারাও ছিল ইস্রায়েলীয়|
Acts 7:58
তারা স্তিফানকে মেরে ফেলার জন্য তাঁকে টানতে টানতে শহর থেকে বাইরে নিয়ে গিয়ে পাথর মারতে লাগল৷ যাঁরা স্তিফানের বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা সাক্ষ্য দিতে এসেছিল, তারা শৌল নামে এক যুবকের পায়ের কাছে তাদের আলখাল্লা খুলে জমা রাখল৷
