ইষ্রা তখন জলদ্বারের সামনের খোলা চত্বরের দিকে মুখ করে জোর গলায ভোর থেকে শুরু করে দুপুর পর্য়ন্ত বিধিপুস্তকটি পাঠ করে শোনালেন| উপস্থিত সকলেই পূর্ণ মনোযোগ সহকারে তা শুনল|

পরে তাঁরা একটা দিন স্থির করে সেই দিনে অনেকে তাঁর বাসায় এলেন৷ সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত তিনি তাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যের বিষয়ে বললেন, বোঝালেন ও সাক্ষ্য দিলেন৷ মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা ও ভাববাদীদের গ্রন্থগুলি থেকে তিনি যীশুর বিষয় তাঁদের বোঝাতে চেষ্টা করলেন৷

মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা এবং ভাববাদীদের গ্রন্থ থেকে পাঠ করা হলে পরে সমাজ-গৃহের অধ্যক্ষ তাদের বলে পাঠালেন, ‘ভাইয়েরা, লোকদের কাছে শিক্ষা দেবার ও উত্সাহ য়োগাবার মত যদি আপনাদের কিছু থাকে তবে এগিয়ে এসে তা বলুন৷’
