তিনি নৌকা থেকে নামার সাথে সাথে একটি লোক কবরস্থান থেকে তাঁর সামনে এল, তাকে অশুচি আত্মায় পেয়েছিল৷

ছেলেটা যখন আসছিল, তখন সেই ভূত তাকে আছাড় মারল আর তাতে সে প্রবলভাবে হাত-পা ছোঁড়াছুঁড়ি করতে লাগল৷ যীশু সেই অশুচি আত্মাকে ধমক দিলেন৷ তারপর ছেলেটিকে সম্পূর্ণ সুস্থ করে তার বাবার কাছে ফেরত্ দিলেন৷
