মনঃশি পরিবারগোষ্ঠী সকলের কাছে সে বার্তাবাহক পাঠাল| বার্তাবাহকরা তাদের অস্ত্রশস্ত্র নিয়ে যুদ্ধের জন্য তৈরি হতে বলল| তাছাড়া গিদিয়োন আশের, সবুলূন আর নপ্তালি পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর কাছেও বার্তাবাহক পাঠালেন| এই কথা বার্তাবাহকরা তাদের বললে তারাও গিদিয়োন ও তাঁর সঙ্গীদের সঙ্গে দেখা করলো|
