কিছু কনানীয়রা সফাত্‌ শহরে বাস করত| তাই সেখানেও যিহূদা আর শিমিয়োন পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর লোকরা কনানীয়দের আক্রমণ করল| তারা শহরটি সম্পূর্ণভাবে ধ্বংস করে ফেলল এবং তার নাম রাখল হর্মা|

And Judah	וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ	wayyēlek	va-YAY-lek
went	יְהוּדָה֙	yĕhûdāh	yeh-hoo-DA
with	אֶת	ʾet	et
Simeon	שִׁמְע֣וֹן	šimʿôn	sheem-ONE
his brother,	אָחִ֔יו	ʾāḥîw	ah-HEEOO
slew they and	וַיַּכּ֕וּ	wayyakkû	va-YA-koo
	אֶת	ʾet	et
the Canaanites	הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י	hakkĕnaʿănî	ha-keh-na-uh-NEE
that inhabited	יוֹשֵׁ֣ב	yôšēb	yoh-SHAVE
Zephath,	צְפַ֑ת	ṣĕpat	tseh-FAHT
and utterly destroyed	וַיַּֽחֲרִ֣ימוּ	wayyaḥărîmû	va-ya-huh-REE-moo
it. And	אוֹתָ֔הּ	ʾôtāh	oh-TA
name the	וַיִּקְרָ֥א	wayyiqrāʾ	va-yeek-RA
of the city	אֶת	ʾet	et
was called	שֵׁם	šēm	shame
Hormah.	הָעִ֖יר	hāʿîr	ha-EER
	חָרְמָֽה׃	ḥormâ	hore-MA
