Jeremiah 28:14
ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু বললেন, ‘আমি প্রত্যেকটি দেশকে লোহার জোযালে বাঁধ্ব| তারপর আমি এই সব জাতিগুলিকে দিয়ে বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদ্রিত্সরকে সেবা করাব| আমি নবূখদ্রিত্সরকে বন্য পশুদেরও শাসন করার ক্ষমতা দেব|”‘

সেদিন তোমরা বাবিলের রাজা সম্পর্কে এই গানটি গাইতে শুরু করবে| গানটি হল:রাজা তাঁর শাসনকালে অত্যন্ত জঘন্য ব্যক্তি ছিলেন| কিন্তু তাঁর শাসনকাল এখন শেষ হয়ে গেল|
যেরেমিয়া 25:9
তাই শীঘ্রই উত্তরের সমস্ত পরিবারগোষ্ঠীকে এবং বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদ্রিত্সরকে যিহূদার লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে পাঠাব| নবূখদ্রিত্সর হল আমার অনুচর| আমি তাদের যিহূদার চার পাশের সমস্ত জাতির বিরুদ্ধে আনব| আমি যিহূদা ও তার চারপাশের সমস্ত দেশগুলিকে ধ্বংস করব এবং তাদের একটি চিরকালীন শূন্য মরুভূমিতে পরিণত করব| মানুষ শিস দিতে দিতে দেখবে কি ভাবে সেই সব দেশ ধ্বংস হবে|

এই বার্তাবাহকদের বলো তাদের মনিবকে গিয়ে বলতে প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর বলেছেন:

যিরমিয় এখন তোমাকে আমি মুক্ত করে দিচ্ছি| আমি তোমার হাতকড়া খুলে দিচ্ছি| তুমি যদি আমার সঙ্গে বাবিলে আসতে চাও আসতে পারো| আমি তোমার সব রকম খেযাল রাখব| আর যদি না য়েতে চাও এসো না| এটা কোন ব্যাপার নয়| তোমার জন্য সব রাস্তা খোলা| যেখানে খুশি তুমি য়েতে পারো|

पপ্রত্যাদেশ 17:12
‘আর তুমি য়ে দশটি শিং দেখলে তা হল দশটি রাজা, তারা এখনও রাজ্য পায় নি, কিন্তু সেই পশুর সঙ্গে এক ঘন্টার জন্য রাজাদের মতো কর্তৃত্ত্ব করার ক্ষমতা পাবে৷
