আদিপুস্তক 47:13
দুর্ভিক্ষ আরও ভযাবহ হয়ে উঠল| ফলে দেশে কোথাও কোন খাদ্য রইল না| এই দরুণ দুর্ভিক্ষের জন্যে মিশর এবং কনান দেশ দরিদ্র হয়ে পড়ল|

| was very | הָֽרָעָ֖ב | hārāʿāb | ha-ra-AV |
| sore, | מְאֹ֑ד | mĕʾōd | meh-ODE |
| land the that so | וַתֵּ֜לַהּ | wattēlah | va-TAY-la |
| of Egypt | אֶ֤רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| and all the land | מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ | miṣrayim | meets-RA-YEEM |
| Canaan of | וְאֶ֣רֶץ | wĕʾereṣ | veh-EH-rets |
| fainted | כְּנַ֔עַן | kĕnaʿan | keh-NA-an |
| by reason of | מִפְּנֵ֖י | mippĕnê | mee-peh-NAY |
