তখন হামনের স্ত্রী সেরশ ও হামনের বন্ধুরা পরামর্শ দিলেন, “কাউকে দিয়ে একটা বড় 75 ফুট মতো থাম্বা বানিয়ে, রাজাকে বলো সকাল বেলা ওটায মর্দখয়কে ফাঁসি দিতে| আর তারপর খুশি মনে রাজাকে নিয়ে ভোজসভায় য়েও!”এই প্রস্তাবটা হামনের বেশ মনে ধরায, তিনি মর্দখয়কে ফাঁসি দেবার জন্য স্তম্ভ বানাতে হুকুম দিলেন|

সামসঙ্গীত 9:15
অন্য সব জাতি, লোকদের ফাঁদে ফেলার জন্য মাটিতে গর্ত খুঁড়েছে| কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজের ফাঁদে পড়ে গেছে| অন্সব লোকজনকে ধরবে বলে ওরা লুকিয়ে জাল পেতেছিল কিন্তু ওরা নিজের জালেই ধরা পড়ে গেছে|

প্রবচন 1:18
তাই পাখীরা কাউকে হত্যা করার আগে তার জন্য লুকিয়ে প্রতীক্ষা করে| কিন্তু ওরা নিজেদের পাতা ফাঁদে পা দিয়েই ধ্বংস হবে!

কোনও দুষ্কর্ম না করা পর্য়ন্ত পাপীদের চোখে ঘুম আসে না| অপরের ক্ষতি না করে তারা বিশ্রাম নিতে পারে না|
