Acts 19:33
কয়েকজন ইহুদী আলেকসান্দারকে সামনে ঠেলে দিল, একেই জনতার কয়েকজন পরামর্শ দিচ্ছিল৷ তিনি সকলকে ইশারায় চুপ করতে বললেন, ও তাদের কাছে কিছু বলতে চাইলেন৷

তখন পৌল উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে হাত নেড়ে বলতে থাকলেন, ‘হে ইস্রায়েলী লোকেরা ও অইহুদীরা, আপনারা যাঁরা সত্য ঈশ্বরের উপাসনা করেন তারা আমার কথা শুনুন৷

আগ্রিপ্প পৌলকে বললেন, ‘এখন আত্ম সমর্থন করতে তোমার যা বলার আছে তা তোমাকে বলতে অনুমতি দেওয়া হল৷’তখন পৌল হাত প্রসারিত করে আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থন করতে থাকলেন৷
